Her husband states he has several questions but would prefer to speak with you in private. When you are both in a conference room, the husband states that his wife will not let him do anything for her or show her any affection. The husband further states his wife wants him to leave her and never come back, asking "How can you stand to be with me now, I can't do anything, and I am so ugly." Using therapeutic communication, how would you:

• Respond when talking with the client’s husband?
• Open a conversation with your client about her husband’s concern?
