Assessment Description
Choose either an acute or chronic specific wound and then respond to the following:
- Discuss what causes that type of specific wound.
- Describe your assessment findings that would indicate the wound is healing.
- Explain why the healing process for the specific wound would be categorized as primary, secondary, or tertiary.
Post three different responses to classmates with different wounds from your initial post and compare and contrast their wound healing with your wound healing (describe what is similar and what is different).
Discussion posts should be at least 200 words, and responses should be 100-150 words.
This discussion question uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the post to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
