Course Description This upper-division business course frames the topic of free market capitalism on the structure of conscious capitalism’s four pillars: higher purpose, servant leadership, culture, and stakeholder orientation and provides additional perspectives on various approaches to free market capitalism today. The course begins by providing a historical foundation of capitalism and a consideration of the principles of economic freedom and concludes by exploring new narratives on capitalism and how modern business integrates with society.
