BIO-202L: Topic 7: Male and Female Reproductive Systems / BIO-202L: Human Anatomy and Physiology II-Lab
The female and male reproductive systems have differing roles in procreation. While both create gametes, the female has additional structures involved in the protection and nourishment of the offspring until birth. Understanding tissue differentiation and development during the time before birth is critical to comprehension of how bodily systems interact to create a functional organism. Objectives: 1. Identify structures of the male and female reproductive systems and summarize their functions. 2. Identify external genitalia of males and females. 3. Identify the structures of the reproductive system at the microscopic level.
